SCHOLARSHIPS & BURSARIES

For many years, the Hui Kuan’s Education Committee has provided scholarships and bursaries for our members’ children. Eligible applicants include those with good conduct and strong academic performance who are currently studying in Universities, Polytechnics, Junior Colleges, Institutes of Technical Education (ITE), Secondary or Primary schools in Singapore. The award amounts range from S$300 to S$2,000.

While the sum may not be large, the purpose of the awards is to encourage our members’ children to strive for excellence in their studies, so that they may contribute meaningfully to the society. At the same time, we hope they will one day join the Hui Kuan as members themselves, helping to carry forward its heritage and development.

The Hui Kuan believes that education lights the way to the future. These scholarships and bursaries are meaningful not for their amount, but for the encouragement they give to our young people. We hope recipients will stay grateful, strive for excellence, give back to society, and carry on our Association’s spirit of remembering our roots and passing on the flame.
