The class is one of the cultural gems of the Nanyang Pho Leng Hui Kuan, dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich traditions of Chaozhou opera and music. Founded in 2003, it has provided a platform for members and enthusiasts to learn, appreciate, and showcase this unique art form. Under the guidance of experienced mentors and now led by renowned instructor Mr. Tan Kok Lye, the class has staged numerous classic operas, earning recognition for its artistry and dedication

Beyond the association, the class has represented the Puning community at major cultural events in Singapore and abroad, including performances at anniversary celebrations, national opera showcases, and international exchanges in Shantou, China. These appearances not only highlight the talent of its members but also strengthen the global presence of Chaozhou arts.

The class also plays an important role in community life, with the annual Dong Zhi Dinner Event serving as a key platform for performances and fellowship. Through its efforts, the class continues to keep this treasured heritage alive, inspiring new generations to carry forward its beauty and spirit.
